
After you have been notified by Jim Gilreath that you are a potential candidate for one of Gilreath Consultantcy’s Investor Executive Searches you & Jim will begin collaborating immediately on your comprehensive candidate binder which, when completed, will eventually be sent by FedEx to our client hiring team members for their review in advance of your anticipated meeting with them. Your binder contents are the result of your complying with our Due Diligence Screening Process as outlined below (items with asterisk are mandatory).
Below is our typical Candidate "Due Diligence" Screening Process that outlines the screening steps we have contractually assured each of our clients that we will undertake before referring any candidate to them for interview. I will send you items #1, #2 and #8 to complete and return to me. Any questions, please contact Jim. Otherwise begin complying with the necessary steps by sending us the requested information, documentation & exhibit material preferably in chronological order for your candidate 3 ring binder that you and Jim are collaborating on together to complete.
- If the client so requests*, sign the client NDA and Fax it back to me at 978-287-4431.
- *Complete self rating quiz sent by a separate email and return to me by email.
- *Fax or email copies of degree(s) and any certifications and honorable discharge to 978/287/4431.
- *Complete your Indiana Jones bio and email to me for editing and I will resend my edited version to you for your final OK.
- *Provide reference list with office/cell phone contact info for me to check including email addresses if possible, of former bosses, peers & subordinates, board members, bankers, CPA, investors, etc.. No one is contacted including anyone who is not on that list without candidate’s emailed prior OK. Please note that I don’t share any reference comments with our search candidates as I assure each reference they can be candid because their confidential reference comments are only for myself and the hiring authority.
- I make emailed/phone appointment requests to all of your approved references including emailing them our website address, a copy of your résumé and the edited Search Title position description for their review and input.
- You assemble exhibit documents for your binder that reinforce statements in your résumé and FedEx them collect to me using our FedEx account number 106407916. We can discuss preferred items for your binder including those that need editing. Indicate which if any documents must be returned to you after your client interviews.
- *Complete my written interview questionnaire that I will email to you after I check your references and email both questions and your answers to me.
- If you are in the top 3-4 prescreened finalist candidates as expected, I will schedule an interview with you in Concord, MA or arrange a videoconference between us.
- Copy of your 3-ring binder is sent to our client hiring team members after which time you should be invited to meet the client.
In the unlikely event that you intentionally misrepresent yourself, your job experiences or your credentials as an active search candidate, you automatically become eliminated from any further search consideration.
